I’m sorry, but with David Cameron telling the Turks he wholeheartedly supports the application they have made to join the EU, the one currently being fast-tracked by the EU with help from the £1bn we have recently given to speed-up the process, I want to know why he is telling us that they won’t be in the EU for many, many, many years and, even if it was likely, he would veto it!

He is either lying to the Turks or lying to us. Which is it? With a Turkish opinion poll suggesting literally millions want to come to Britain – not a few thousand, millions, and not the EU, Britain – and with David Cameron doing his best to play down the levels of immigration we are likely to have if we remain in the EU, can we ever believe him on this subject or any other again?

With many of his colleagues simply disgusted at the bizarre threats he is making, with everything from World War Three to pensioners now starving to death, economic doom and every Biblical plague and disaster you can name, the man is simply untrustworthy.

To think, he even says that, if we leave, he might lead our negotiating team in the post-referendum exit negotiations! Good God, the mind boggles!
