THANKYOU to every Flixton resident who, on May 5 went to the polls and voted in the local elections.
I was encouraged by many who wished me well and have congratulated since.
I fully appreciate the 1475 votes cast on the day and therefore confidence placed in me.
Flixton was the narrowest contest in Trafford, so credit to Simon Thomas for the battle we had.
However my victory ensures the continuity of links that I have made within our community over the past four years.
Naturally I am delighted to be re-elected. And will support residents throughout the next four years term of office.
I am grateful to the Conservative team especially my agent Terry Spencer in coordinating a successful campaign.
