I'M writing to offer my congratulations to Trafford Council's 'traffic cone breeding programme' that has been taking place across the Altrincham and Timperley area.
Such is the success of this project, I'm finding that my 12 mile commute takes over an hour as I have to get across Altrincham to go to work.
In fact I now use the motorway and travel over 20 miles just to avoid Altrincham. And I go elsewhere to shop. And to eat out.
But never mind - perhaps Trafford Council can turn its attentions to helping other rare breeds like the Gloucester Old Spot or the Tamworth - I understand from 'Countryfile' these pigs need all the help they can!
