During the Scottish independence referendum of September 2014 the Vote No campaign's tactic 'Project Fear' is widely accepted as the telling factor in its narrow success.

Similarly the Keep Britain in Europe side are increasingly adopting this tactic to frighten people.

The reason we are having the in - out referendum is simple, the Tories were losing votes galore to Ukip so this 'pledge' was included in his manifesto.

But Cameron's so-called EU renegotiation is a farce. His watered-down demands, even if successful, will do nothing to halt the Brussels super state from interfering in our daily life.

The EU is run by a small unaccountable and unelected elite, it is so very corrupt responsible auditors have refused for many years to sign its accounts due to missing €billions.

Despite Cameron's tough talking his fatal mistake is in admitting he will still vote to stay in even if, more likely when, he achieves nothing worthwhile. His bluff will be called.

Yet Britain's economy is the fifth biggest in the world, we sell more outside of the EU than we do with it.

Cameron has gagged Tory MP Euro sceptics from speaking out until his negotiations are complete.

If we swallow this latest version of Project Fear and vote to remain under Brussels control prepare for things to get even worse.

With no border controls we cannot halt the millions of EU migrants from coming to our overcrowded shores.

Europe is under seige from migrants from the Middle East and North Africa, youth unemployment throughout is horrifying, it staggers from crisis to crisis.

With Graham Brady effectively gagged, Mike Kane, Labour MP Wythenshawe and Sale East, visited the Calais Jungle camp and demands that we must allow the thousands camped there entry to England.

Jeremy Corbyn is of the same mind, unlimited immigration and no borders.

Labour unsurprisingly back the remaining side, terrifying reason enough for a massive out vote.

Sincerely,

James Burness
