I WAS selling poppies outside Boots in Sale Town centre and five school boys, aged about 14, stood near by.
One of these charming young men then spat on the floor four times.
l spoke to him. l said that was disgusting behaviour, people will have to walk through your mess,use a tissue next time.
l also said he could get fined for doing that.To his credit he apologised twice. As they were leaving the last boy looked straight at me and deliberately spat twice on the floor in front of me.l called him an uncouth yob. He mouthed some rude word at me.
Now, as l am a 72-year-old lady selling poppies for our fallen military, you can imagine it wasn't pleasant.
I didn't see the school uniform as they all had winter jackets.They should hang their heads in shame.
