AS an intermittent visitor to Altrincham, I am baffled by the carping in your letter columns about the town centre.
Over10 years, I have seen it transformed: tastefully renovated buildings, a tip-top new bus station, a host of varied eateries, and an elegantly paved pedestrian precinct round the vibrant market and its excitingly innovative restaurant - all of which make the centre of Altrincham a delight in which to shop and seek recreation. Shame on the disparagerS!
