THE British motorist must be one of the most patient drivers in the world, especially when Trafford Council seems to prefer lining many of the roads in and around Trafford with pot holes, and the pavements are not far behind either.
One particular pavement in particular runs parallel with Lostock Road, Davyhulme, from the top of Romley Road, down to the Nags Head circle, where the pavements are sinking and uneven. Especially after a heavy downpour there is so much water to wade through that I'm surprised that residents don't end up with foot rot, and not to mention it also becomes a hazard, and insecure for people to walk on, especially the elderly.
Once again, this is the council falling foul of not maintaining them properly.
Harry Wild,
Conway Road, Davyhulme
