I HAVE had to write in, once again, to congratulate Tony Fishwick, my councillor in Timperley, for the absolutely brilliant Altrincham Festival.

I just had to say what a fantastic turn out there was and a really great selection of entertainment and fantastic choice of both craft and general stalls to purchase local products from.

The whole day was a great success and everyone really did appear to be enjoying themselves.

Then, as a local living just yards away from the venue, what a fantastic job Tony's team of volunteers and others did of clearing the fields for the general public to carry on enjoying, not a bit of rubbish in site.

It's great days like this that really make use of the green space we have here at Beech Fields.

May it continue for many years to come and again a great big thankyou to Tony Fishwick and his team.
