WHAT is it with the retired age group? You join a health club for an early morning swim before work and it is full of these people who don't have to rush off to work hogging all the lanes just talking and not even swimming. I tried the local baths and this, too, was the same.

it was like scene out of the film Cocoon, it was full of them, even queuing up to get in.

It's the same at the local GP blood test start at 9am and they are in there as soon as the surgery opens at 8am, making sure they have their ticket.

Then you have around 60 people in front of you that don't have to go to work.

Can't someone please put some rules in place that those of you who don't have to go to work consider those that do and stay away from gyms before 9. Let us workers get our exercise too and not have to swim around these people that just seem to use it for more of a social event. It really really is very annoying!

So if your retired stay in bed a little longer because you are lucky enough to have that option and try and think about us poor workers.

I, too, am not that far off retiring and I will make sure I don't do what you all do .
