YOU must not park partially or wholly on the pavement unless signs permit it.
Parking on the pavement can obstruct and seriously inconvenience pedestrians, people in wheelchairs or with visual impairments and people with prams or pushchairs.
Law GL(GP)A sect 15
I have walked down Grove Lane and Moss Lane to Altrincham and I believe with all the on/ off road parking and over grown hedges you cannot get a wheelchair or pram along these pavements.
Most of these cars have facilities o park of the road. ie. drives.
Why do our esteemed parking attendants fail to issue parking notices?
