HOW fortunate are we in Trafford when it comes to entertainment and the arts. Incredibly fortunate I would say.
Recently, I visited one of my favourite performance venues at the Waterside Arts Centre in Sale.
I was there with my husband and our friend for the 'Doors Alive' gig.
What an incredible performance it was.
Having not previously seen the band, and for me knowing only a few of the more famous 'Doors' tracks, I assumed I would simply enjoy another good musical night out at a lovely venue.
Wrong! The good musical night out was multiplied tenfold for me and my party.
The band is world-class, with a magnificent professional musical talent and pedigree.
All this for only £11 per ticket. Unbeatable value.
Well done to the Waterside for continuing to 'Light My Fire' by bringing top-class bands to this area.
