I WANTED to share my experience of the kindness of others, who helped me unconditionally today in Stretford car park.

I accidentally locked my bag in my car , and yes, the keys were in it.

I had my young granddaughter with me at the time, and thank goodness she wasn't in the car, but I was at a total loss what to do .

I went to the cut price shop next to the Halifax and asked the man there if he had any wire that I could use to try and open the door, you know, as they do so easily in films. Without hesitation, he came to my car with me and tried for over a hour to open it .

To add to that , an elderly couple phoned a garage and the AA for me - alas to no avail - but still were so kind, and a lady from TJHughes offered me a cigarette to calm me down and a TJHughes security guard offered his help also. I eventually managed to get hold of a spare key but I just wanted to say a huge thankyou to all those kind people who helped me.

These people didn't know me but proved that there is still plenty of goodness out there, especially in Stretford Arndale, so once again, to all of you ,... thank you .
