KAREN Metiage in her letter, March 5, was 'alarmed and amused' by Kate Green's 'Votes for Women' in Urmston.
Can I suggest that she would be even more alarmed and not at all amused if she witnessed a full council meeting where the ruling group of Conservative councillors, sitting on high , are almost entirely men in suits.
What is wrong in using a novel way to interact and encourage women to use their hard won vote?
As for the so called pink bus., pink has always been traditionally associated with females and indeed is often used in female specific charities like breast cancer for example..
