ONE can’t help thinking that the indoor winter sports centre that has sprung up by the Trafford Centre, combined with a ski slope, looks more like a US anti-nuclear missile installation than an ice centre.
One visitor who won’t be welcome at this Goliath of a complex, is bad-boy Vladimir Putin who recently threatened to aim his nuclear warheads at Europe.
Let’s hope he knows the difference between a warhead and a ski slope.
Otherwise Trafford, ‘we have a problem’.
