LAST year we appealed to knitters in the North West to help us knit mice to create the ‘Mile of Mice’ and raise money for the Alzheimer’s society.
We were overwhelmed with your generosity as we ended up with 14,500 mice and raised a staggering £10,550.
This time we are hoping to create a ‘Circle of Folk for Strokes’ knitting 8” figures and joining their hands to make a huge circle at Altrincham Football Ground on Sunday, October 26.
We aim to raise lots of money for the Stroke Association in the North West by selling them on the day and hopefully at the Altrincham Christmas Markets.
If you fancy getting involved, please see our Facebook page ‘Circle of Folk’ or send a stamped addressed envelope to: Circle of Folk, Wellfield Lane, Hale.
