WHAT a load of trash!!

Although recycling is an important issue, it is not a priority.

There are other serious issues to be addressed and too often the council turns a blind eye to such issues.

Ever since we moved to Broadheath 28 years ago, there have been numerous serious accidents on Sinderland Road, due to a a blind spot.

Only last week, there was a bad accident on this blind spot, and people had to be cut free from a vehicle.

Over the years, as driving has become more hazardous along Sinderland Road, the residents signed a petition two years ago, which was submitted to the council, but nothing was ever done to ensure safety on this blind spot.

We wonder if the council should take responsibility for the accidents as they have failed to address this very serious issue, which they have known for a number of years, and which is a health and safety issue, hence a priority.

How many more accidents have to occur before they act? More to the point, I wonder if issuing the council with red cards whenever they fail the local people, would be effective.
