I HAVE just received my PAYE Coding Notice for 2013/14 and note that while there is going to be a cost of living increase in the state pension there will be no increase in personal allowances.
This means that on my small works pension I will be paying more tax than last year.
On the other hand, for the wealthy earning more than £150,000 a year there will be a reduction in the rate of tax of five per cent.
The Government seems to think that the way to solve our economic problems is by taking from the poor and giving it to the rich.
That’s just daft and so unfair.
