IN the current financial climate, I can't understand how our Tory council thinks we can afford to publish and distribute 'Your Trafford'.
Mine fell out of my newspaper last week and I got quite angry as I looked through it: Some tips on motoring in cold weather, an article about the Twilight markets in Altrincham (which we've read about in the local press already), something to tell us that gritting teams are working this winter (well, yes) and half a page on new trees.
Given that the council is cutting significant services and people's jobs, is this really a priority?
They accuse the Labour opposition of not coming up with plans for savings but here's something obvious and the Tory council is sitting on the fence over it. Please don't waste any more time and cancel the next issue now.
