A teenage boy has been taken to hospital with a head injury after falling out of a moving coach.
The coach was on a roundabout at the junction of the M4 and M49 motorways, near Bristol, when the 13-year-old is thought to have fallen out of the coach's fire escape.
A critical care team from the South Western Ambulance Service was sent to the scene, but the boy's injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
An ambulance service spokeswoman said: "We were called at around 6.53 this afternoon to reports that a child had fallen out of a coach's fire escape and suffered head injuries.
"It is not thought that the injuries are serious, but special care has to be taken with head injuries so he was taken to Bristol Children's Hospital."
The M49 has been closed southbound between junction 22 of the M4 and junction 18a of the M5 due to the incident.
The M49 was later reopened.
