Keira Knightley has taken on a rare comedy role in her latest film
Keira Knightley has revealed she picked up some comedy tips from her co-star in Seeking A Friend For The End Of The World co-star Steve Carell.
The 27-year-old actress appears opposite the Crazy, Stupid Love actor in Lorene Scafaria's comedy-drama about two people forging an unlikely friendship in the face of apocalypse.
She explained: "I've done a lot of tragedy, a lot of drama, I haven't done a lot of comedy.
"And watching him, and his timing, and his physical comedy is amazing."
She added: "Particularly in this, where he's playing this character who's quite dark, and quite down - it's not wacky broad comedy, it's very subtle, and he's wonderful at finding those comic moments even in the most tragic ones."
