Blythe Danner doesn't believe in destiny
Blythe Danner has revealed the early death of her husband made her stop believing in destiny.
Meet The Parents star Blythe, who is the mother of Gwyneth Paltrow, lost her husband Bruce Paltrow in 2002 after over 30 years of marriage.
The veteran actress, who stars in new movie The Lucky One - an adaptation of Nicholas Sparks' romantic novel - told reporters at the film's Los Angeles premiere: "Luck is one thing, but destiny is another.
"Not to get morose, but my husband died ten years ago, and I don't get anything that's destiny about that."
Producer and director Bruce died in 2002, aged 58, from complications of pneumonia while battling oral cancer.
