Reese Witherspoon has talked to her kids about domestic violence
Reese Witherspoon has revealed that she has already had a talk about domestic violence with her children.
The Hollywood actress is a Global Ambassador for Avon's efforts to help victims of domestic violence, a role which saw her travel to Washington to speak to the second World Conference of Women's Shelters.
And it prompted the star to discuss the subject with daughter Ava, 12, and son Deacon, eight, her kids from her previous marriage to Ryan Phillippe.
The Water For Elephants actress said it was important for them to be aware of the problem, especially her daughter as she is almost old enough to date.
At a time when bullies are responding with violence, Reese also said parents must educate themselves and their children about social media and "what constitutes harassment, what is acceptable and what is not".
