Urmston Meadowside Under 11s beat Fife to win tournament

URMSTON Meadowside Under 11’s Saxons have won Birchwood FC’s football tournament.
The Saxons, who easily qualified for the semi-finals through the group stages, beat an impressive Crossfields team 1-0 to secure their place in the final.
Sponsored by Canterbury Road Day Nursey, the boys from Urmston went on to beat an excellent team from Fife in a pulsating final which finished 2-1 after extra time. Goals were scored by Robert Watson and Raphe Barber.
