School celebrates sporting success
HALE Prep School are celebratingafter their under-11 boys’ team came third in the ISA Northern Schools Athletics meeting at Robin Park, Wigan.
Jack Bradburn (pictured) led the points scoring by winning two events - the 75m in a personal best time of 10.72 seconds and the long jump with a distance of 3.75m.
Charlie Ratcliffe came second in the cricket ball throw and the boys 4 X 75m relay team came fourth overall.
More than 20 schools competed and Hale were pipped to second spot by just one point.
