URMSTON Meadowside under 10s Saxons, continued their impressive tournament record by winning their home club’s tournament for the third time in four years.
The Saxons won all 5 of their league games to qualify for the final stages, scoring 10 goals and not conceding any.
In the semi final the Saxons beat Wilmslow Town 2-0. The Saxons - sponsored by Canterbury Road Day Nursery - then went on to beat Stretford Vics 2-0 in the final, with Robert Watson scoring both goals.
