MANCHESTER City player Michael Johnson has been arrested on suspicion of drink-driving after his car was involved in a minor car crash in the early hours of Thursday morning.
The 24-year-old is thought to have been visiting his girlfriend when he crashed his Mercedes CLS 350 into a parked BMW X5 on Grangethorpe Road, Urmston at approximately 3.40am on May 31.
The City midfielder was treated by paramedics at the scene before being taken to Trafford General Hospital.
Johnson is set to be bailed pending blood test results.
