12:53pm Thursday 24th May 2012

TWO youngsters from Sale have won a once in a lifetime prize to go and play on the world famous Twickenham pitch before the Aviva Premiership Rugby Final on Saturday.

Alex May, aged 12, and Tom Ashton, 12, won the opportunity to be coached by Premiership coaches on the pitch at Twickenham following an ESPN community rugby coaching session at their school earlier this year.

The coaching session will take place before ESPN’s live broadcast of the Aviva Premiership Rugby Final between Harlequins and Leicester where the boys will also get to meet ESPN’s famous rugby presenters and ex-England stars, Ben Kay and Austin Healy.

Jimmy May, Father of Alex, said: “The boys are really looking forward to it, it should be a good day.”

The lads will also get to go behind the scenes at ESPN’s studios, followed by watching the final from the stands with their parents.
