U10 girls follow in Manchester City's footsteps

MANCHESTER City Girls Under 10s followed in their first team's footsteps by securing the league title with a 4-0 victory over Stockport County last weekend.

The girls team, who are the youngest of any of Man City’s teams, have now won the league for the second year in a row, winning every game in the process.

The Under 10s ladies, who play their home games each Saturday at Woodsend, Flixton, have only conceded four goals all year in what has been a truly remarkable season for them.

If you would like to show your support for the South Manchester Girls League, Man City Girls play Altrincham Sparrows in the final game of their season, The Challenge Cup Final 2012, at Heywood Road Ground, Sale, on Sunday, May 20 at 10.30am.

Admission on the gate is £3 for adults and £1 for children with anyone welcome.
