SALE disability charity Stockdales is holding its annual golf day at Sale Golf Club on Friday June 29.
The charity is encouraging local golfers to come along and support the event sponsored by E-Foods Ltd.
Natalie James-Crumlish, fundraising manager at Stockdales, said: “Big thanks to E-Foods for sponsoring our golf day again. This is a fantastic opportunity for local golf enthusiasts to get involved at this superb event and raise lots of much needed funds for Stockdales.
"We usually have about 20 teams of four competing and the weather is normally on our side.
"The event typically raises anything upwards of £10,000 and every penny is spent on our work supporting people with learning disabilities.”
Natalie said: “A team of four costs just £350 and that includes lunch, the golf competition, presentation dinner and entertainment in the evening.
"It’s a brilliant day out and this year we’re holding it on a Friday so that most people can enjoy themselves without having work the next day. Many of our teams support us year on year, but it would be great to welcome new faces too.”
