ANDY Lowe’s leveller secured a fair share of the spoils for a threadbare Urmston Hockey Club men’s firsts as they drew 1-1 with Alderley Edge seconds in Division Two West.
Lowe scored his second goal in as many games to equalise after Alderley’s bizarre opener with the draw solidifying their mid-table position.
Elsewhere, the men’s seconds stretched their unbeaten run to seven games as they beat South Manchester firsts 4-2 with the win moving them up to second in Division Five North South.
The ladies’ firsts edged Prescot firsts with a 3-2 win in Division Two South West, while the ladies’ seconds thrashed University of Manchester seconds 5-1 to move up to third place in Division Three with a game in hand on second-placed Didsbury Northern fourths.
