TIMPERLEY Cons came out on top in their big clash with Cringlewood in the Altrincham and Sale Round the Board Darts League last week.
The two big-hitting teams put on a fantastic performance with a great comeback from 3-1 down for Cons led by skipper Andy Brownhill, his three-bull leg finish giving him the win by 2½-½ with Gary Sullivan, and vice-captain Daz Buckley winning 2-0 to take the 4-3 win.
This result has put the Cons two points clear at the top of the table.
Second-placed Central Club played against the Station, and it was the latter who took an early lead before Central hit back and eventually took the match 5-2.
Budenburgs had a close match against the Gardeners which went all the way with Budenburgs winning 4-3.
