TRAFFORD MV return to North Lancs/Cumbria action on Saturday looking to take maximum points from their home fixture against bottom-placed Barrow-in-Furness side Hawcoat Park.

MV had a blank weekend last week but received a boost during their week off when rivals Littleborough were hit with a points deduction resulting from a poor club disciplinary record in recent seasons.

It saw MV move up to 11th place above Burnley and level on points with Eccles.

After two wins on the trot, MV will be confident of success with a run of potentially winnable games coming up.

There will be a good home crowd at MacPherson Park this weekend as MV's former players gather for their autumn reunion.

The club are inviting any old boys who may be reading this article to join them for a buffet at 1pm and to watch the game afterwards while catching up on old times.

If you recognise yourself on the picture with the article, call in at the club on Saturday to catch up with old friends.

The fixture against Hawcoat Park kicks off at 3pm and admission to MV's home games is free.
