TIMPERLEY Cons pushed further ahead at the top of the table in the Altrincham and Sale Round the Board Darts League with an impressive 7-0 win against the Station on Monday.
Second-placed Cringlewood stayed in contention with a similarly impressive 7-0 win against the Brigadier.
The top two are due to meet on September 4 in what could be a title-defining evening.
Central Club beat Gardeners A 5-2 while the match of the night came when the Brooklands Tap took on Budenburgs and won 4-3 in a close contest.
On Bank Holiday Monday, the Altrincham and Sale league take on the Grappenhall and District League in the first ever inter-league competition.
This new inter-league competition will be a one-off annual event with the very best 27 dart throwers from Altrincham and Sale pitting themselves against the best 27 from the Grappenhall league.
Monday's first clash is being played at the Central Club in Broadheath.
