TIMPERLEY FC was awarded the Cheshire FA Charter Standard Club of the Year award and has now won the regional honour as well.
It means the club, which is preparing to celebrate 25 years of existence, will now be the North West representative put forward to the national panel.
With more than 250 children playing across all age groups from reception up to under-12s, the club has enjoyed an immensely successful year and the awards are recognition of the hard work that goes in to running the club – from the chairman, committee and coaches, all of whom are volunteers, to the parents and supporters and all the children who train and play in matches.
The club has always had and promoted a culture of inclusive football, aimed primarily at providing accessible football and creating a safe and enjoyable environment that children want to keep coming back to.
