TRAFFORD MV are on the hunt for new players who are looking to get involved in rugby union.

The domestic season may only have recently finished but the sport remains high-profile, particularly with the British and Irish Lions now in New Zealand preparing for three huge Tests against the All Blacks.

England are also out in Argentina with Sale Sharks twins Ben and Tom Curry part of Eddie Jones' squad.

And MV want to use that profile to inspire youngsters to take up the sport.

Seven young players who have progressed through the ranks at MV made their first-team debuts last season and the club wants the conveyor belt to keep on churning out senior stars.

If you are interested in playing rugby with Trafford MV at any level, whether senior or mini/junior contact Greg Hawkins on 07834 857905 or Wilf Dooley on 07771 913994.

Players of all abilities are invited to approach the club with a view to playing or learning the game.

Meanwhile, MV will be hosting 'Big Breakfasts' for the Lions' first and second Test matches on June 24 and July 1 at 8pm. Visit the club's website at http://www.pitchero.com/clubs/traffordmv and Facebook/Twitter accounts for more info.

Also on the MV rugby website will be dates and times for training sessions for particular age groups over the summer and for the start of official senior training in early July.
