Turners stars for Urmston
JAKE Turner made a stunning debut for Urmston Hockey Club's men's thirds as his winner beat Northern seconds 2-1.
Goalkeeper Dave Engels was again in inspired man-of-the-match form as the Greens put breathing space between themselves and the bottom two teams in Division Six North South.
Cold weather ripped through the rest of the fixture list as all ladies' fixtures were called off alongside the men's seconds' game against Liverpool JMU.
