BUDENBURGS won the battle between the top two in the Altrincham and Sale Round the Board Darts League on Monday when they triumphed 4-3 to leapfrog opponents Timperley Cons Club on legs difference.
Elsewhere, Central Club secured victory over The Wheatsheaf, putting them in fourth place.
The Stone Masons lost against The Railway in a tough match, while The Brooklands Tap took the points against The Bricklayers in what is becoming a winning streak for the Tap – they are now mid-table and challenging for a top-four place.
Ian McCulloch of Timperley Cons Club hit an 11-dart leg which is the fewest darts in one leg this season in the league.
