CENTRAL Club are the early leaders of the Altrincham and Sale Monday Night Darts Winter League after a win against Stonemasons.
The Railway played a fantastic match, winning 4-3 against new team Bricklayers.
Defending Winter League champions Timperley Conservative Club edged out British Rail Club 4-3 in a tight encounter, with captain Andy Brownhill admitting it was a high-standard match which was nip and tuck all the way.
The Orange Tree beat The Wheatsheaf 4-3 in another tight match.
League secretary Carl Bailey said: "It was a brilliant start to the winter season."
Although the teams are all in, there is still an opportunity for players to sign for an existing team.
