IT was all change at the top of the Altrincham and Sale Round the Board Darts League for the third week running on Monday night.

Budenburgs took all the points against Railway, shooting them to the top spot.

Both Central Club and Timperley Cons dropped points, putting them joint second and one point behind Budenburgs.

The Wheatsheaf again took points off a leading team, with captain Derek Ennis saying his team had hit form at the right time.

Mark Smith led his Orange Tree team to a great victory against Brooklands Tap to take them off the foot of the table. They are now above Railway and Quarry.

The bottom of the table is a three-way battle with two games to go.

It has been a competitive summer season for all the teams and league secretary Carl Bailey has hailed a fantastic summer.

The Tatton and King George join Bricklayers in wanting to take part in the winter season which starts September 19.

The winter season will have 13 teams from the Altrincham and Sale area.
