IN the Altrincham & District Amateur Football League, Division One side Broadheath Central continued their impressive title defence against promoted George FC. With both sides having there chances Broadheath's greater possession and clinical finishing led to a 4-0 victory with two goals for Gareth Steele and one apiece for Reece Thompson and Liam Loyd.

Kartel sports enjoyed an emphatic away 8-1 victory at Moorlands.

With the game poised all square at 1-1 at half-time, Kartel ran riot in the second half with Arron Crellin-Myers and John O'Neil enjoyed hat-tricks with Jake McCann and Michael McGuire also chipping in with the other two goals.

In the remaining two Division One fixtures there were away victories for both Old Altrinchamians who enjoyed a 4-2 away victory at Railway Hale and Altrincham Hale who won 5-1 away at Sale Amateurs.

Elsewhere, in Division Two, Unicorn played host to Wythenshawe Amateurs and the sides sat level at half time 2-2.

Wythenshawe stepped up a gear in the second half and added four goals to unicorns one leaving the final score as a 6-3 away win.

Prestbury remain top and unbeaten with an impressive 4-1 home win to sale united reserves whilst the only other fixture saw Altrincham Hale earn a 6-2 home win against Wythenshawe Celtic, with Dan McDonagh and Sam Cafferty getting the consolation goals
