URMSTON girl Bradie Zimmer-Collins, has won her age category at the English Snowboarding Championships - for the third year running.

The 12-year-old, who attends Flixton Girls School, entered the national competition held at Chill Factore in Trafford and, despite tough competition from all over the UK, came out victorious.

She claimed gold and the title of U14s English Slopestyle Champion.

Bradie, pictured, also scored high enough in her section to be awarded a place in the overall final where, following a two run format in the style of the Sochi Olympics event, she won silver in the women's section, finishing second in the entire competition.

Bradie, who has been a regular on the competition circuit for four years, moved up from the U12s last year after dominating the age categories for two years.

Having recently been re-selected for the National Academy Park and Pipe Squad, as well as the Chill Factore Athlete team, Bradie trains with some of the countries top snowboarding athletes both in the UK and abroad.

When not on the snow, Bradie trains at Evolve Gym at Media City, Salford.
