OVER the last two weeks hundreds of youngsters have enjoyed playing rugby union with the Trafford MV junior section.
With the 2nd Xl the only senior team to play at the weekend - going down to a 25-3 defeat at Fleetwood – the focus was on the junior section.
Players ranging from under-5s to u16s have been put through their paces with around 350 playing the game on MV's MacPherson Park playing fields.
The club is keen to forge links with local schools and colleges and welcomes new players of all ages and abilities to try their hand at the sport.

The club will announce plans for a new development at the in the new year ahead of the Rugby World Cup.
This Saturday MV's first team welcome Didsbury Toc H to MacPherson Park and will be looking for another good result to put pressure on third-placed Ashton Under Lyne in North Lancs Division One. Kick off is at 2.15pm
