TRAFFORD MV Ladies were to host Bredbury St.Marks in a Cheshire T20 Fixture. Following the defeat of Didsbury on Friday evening MV's Ladies were in confident mood.
Bredbury lost the toss and Trafford MV decided to bat first. In the early overs it was difficult to score quick runs however Carol Ingham was playing a Test like innings with a solid performance, Charlie Williams played well looking to attack the opening bowlers. Unfortunately a few quick wickets saw Trafford finish on 93 runs with Carol "Bumble" Ingham retiring on 28 not out.
Trafford felt the 93 runs were enough to defend - some strong bowling from Sinead Aasling, Claire Anderton and Emily Hirst backed up by excellent sharp fielding saw Bredbury fall short for just 63 runs.
Young Keryn Warner made her debut for the team and played well in the field and with games under her belt she will be an asset to the squad.
