AFC Quarry maintained their place at the top of the Division One table after a comfortable 4-1 victory in tricky conditions over eighth placed Knutsford FC, thanks to two goals each from Tom Carter and James Pearce.

Old Altrinchamians continued their good form and are up to second after a solid 2-0 home win over ninth placed Kartel Sports.

Sale Amateurs defeated eleventh placed Cheadle Hulme 5-3 and occupy third spot.

Fourth placed Flixton Juniors lost at home to sixth placed Broadheath Central FC 4-1. Tenth placed Swinton FC were triumphant over seventh placed Atlantic FC 3-1 at Barton Road.

In Division Two Moorlands continue to lead the away after they were granted an away walkover over Juno United.

West Didsbury and Chorlton are in second spot after a Conor O’Hanlon effort saw them defeat ninth placed Styal 1-0.

Wendover AFC are in third after a comfortable 3-0 win over eighth placed APFC, goals from Mark Harvey, James Kennedy and Kyle Rowley.

Broadheath JFC are fourth despite a tight 3-2 defeat at the hands of sixth placed Unicorn Athletic. FC Woodford made it 10 wins out of 11 this season as they thumped bottom placed Winton JFC 10-0. Chris Coppenhall , Adam Ledgar, Scott Wright and seven goals from the sublime Greg Mathers providing the goals for Woodford in this big win.

Seventh placed Wythenshawe Amateurs are in seventh despite losing 4-2 to 10th placed George FC, Andrew Brady and a hat-trick from Mike Russell on the score-sheet for George.
