TRAFFORD Golf Centre has celebrated its millionth ball hit this year.

To celebrate this milestone the centre surprised lucky golfer Anne Collier with a bottle of bubbly, £50 gift voucher for American Golf and a free lesson with a PGA qualified teaching professional.

Anne from Worsley has been playing golf for 13 years and is team captain of Ellesmere Golf Club.

She is a regular visitor to Trafford Golf Centre - on the doorstep of the Trafford Centre - and took up the sport after taking early retirement.

Anne said, “It was such a nice surprise to find out I’ve hit the millionth ball this year. I’ve been coming to the golf centre for lessons for two and half years and really enjoy it, the facilities and staff are great here.”

Director of golf at Trafford Golf Centre, Pete Styles said, “To hit this milestone so early on in the year is great news for Trafford Golf Centre. We cater for all ages and levels and would encourage anyone keen to give golf a go or brush up their skills to visit the centre and see what we have on offer.”

Trafford Golf Centre offers a 57 bay driving range over two tiers, four teaching professionals, a full offer American Golf store and extensive free on-site car parking.

The centre is located immediately adjacent to Junction 10 of the M60.
