Timperley 214 Sale 192-8 Match drawn SALE’s six match winning run came to end at Timperley on Saturday when they only managed a 12 point draw after failing by 23 runs to overhaul the home side’s total of 214. Although technically a losing draw Sale emerged with 3 more points than Timperley who forfeited all three of their batting bonus points by continuing their innings into the 54th over.

Hale Barns 99-9 Oakmere 103-6 Oakmere won by 4 wickets Hale Barns won the toss and batted first away at Oakmere. The innings got off to a bad start and got worse as Hale Barns were blown away in the opening 12 overs when the top order contributed 12 runs for 5 wickets. Jordan Collins was the only batsman to score any meaningful runs scoring 18 and then it was left to the lower order to mount a recovery. Molloy and Fretwell contributed 12 each and then skipper Saddington was joined by number 11 batsman Berks in the last 5 overs.
