SALE Sharks managed to grab a priceless 21-17 win at against London Wasps at Adams Park, thanks to tries from Dan Braid and Johnny Leota, and 11points kicked by ex-Wasps player Danny Cipriani.

After seven minutes, Nick Macleod went down after a late tackle by Wasps scrum-half Joe Simpson following a high kick in the air. After consulting the TMO, referee Dean Richards gave the scrum-half a yellow card. Macleod left the pitch for a concussion check-up and Danny Cipriani came on to replace him. Cipriani's first action was to kick for goal from the halfway line, and he got it. It was 0-3 to Sale.

Sale scored the first try of the game, thanks to a good break from Mark Cueto on the left wing, who chipped the ball through, Andrea Masi failed to gather on the loose ball, and David Seymour took full advantage of it and picked it up and ran into the 22.

The Sharks defence put some huge hits in, but they were too eager at one ruck and were penalised for being offside. Joe Carlisle stepped up and he got the kick. That made the scores 3-10 after 19mins.

Wasps attacked once again after kick off, and yet again, Sale's defence was penalised for being offside. Joe Carlisle kicked again for the posts and he got it. It was 6-10 after 21 minutes now.

Joe Carlisle kicked over the penalty to make the score 9-10 after 25minutes.

Danny Cipriani kicked off the second half and Wasps attacked from the off.

Sale managed to get a penalty from a scrum and Cipriani went for the posts. He got the kick which made the scores 17-18 after 61minutes.

Danny Cipriani went to go for goal and he got it. This made the scores 17-21 with 77minutes played.
