SALE Sharks continue to set the pace in the Kings of the North competition as a debut try from new signing Brian Mujati helped Steve Diamond's side to a 38-5 bonus point victory over Leicester Tigers at the AJ Bell Stadium.

The homes side took the game by the scruff of the neck and opened the scoring after 23 minutes.

No 8 Viliami Fihaki picked up the ball from the base of the ruck and went in under the posts for a 7-0 lead.

There were concerns over prop forward Eifion Lewis-Roberts hobbled off with the help of physio on the half-hour mark.

Mujati crashed over before the break to ensure the Sharks had 14-0 lead at the interval.

Further tries were added in the second period by Cameron Neild, Paolo Odogwu, substitute James Flynn and Mike Haley to wrap up a home win but there are concerns after losing props Roberts, Ross Harrison to strains and injury.
