ON Sunday the AK women’s team followed up their previous week’s win at Chester by beating Darlington 12 – 5, with two tries from Emma Boyle and a conversion from Pam Read.

In the juniors AK Under 15s beat Chester 32-17 with tries from Jacob Daldry, Toby Nicholls, Marvin Jones (2) and Sam Gallimore (2), with one conversion by Jacob Daldry.

AK Under 13s also beat Chester 31 – 0 with tries from Tom Watson (2), Christos Nikou, Joe Horsfeld and Connor Docherty, with three conversions from Callum Ramsey.

AK Under 9s beat Ashton on Mersey by 15 tries to 3. Scorers were Oliver Dunne (3), Josh Edwards (2), Alex Howells (2), Joe Tomlinson (2) and 1 each for Maximus Nikou, Will Riley, Josh Grundy, Juan Chung, Max Hastings and Archie Kington. Player of the week was Freddie Gray.
