AFC Quarry and Broadheath Central FC both moved above Sale Town at the top of Division One on Saturday thanks to away wins at Egerton FC (2-4) and Kartel Sports (0-7) respectively.
League leaders Quarry sit two points ahead of Broadheath and three points clear of Town, whose match away at Sale United was postponed, having played one game more than the former and two games more than the latter.
In the one other game played in the top flight, Sale Amateurs came out 0-2 winners at Swinton FC to make it three league victories on the bounce and climb up to fourth place in the table.
Atlantic FC vs Sale Moor FC, Flixton Juniors vs Wilmslow Sports and Knutsford FC vs Salford AFC were all called off.
Meanwhile in Division Two, Cheadle Hulme took advantage of Northenden Victoria's postponed fixture away at Deans Youth to reclaim top spot with a 6-1 win against Old Alts.
Sale Town Reserves recorded a 5-2 victory against Grappenhall Sports and now lie in third position after being awarded six points for their cancelled matches against Old Alts and West Didsbury and Chorlton.
In the two other games played in the second tier, Moorlands Sports secured their first win in four league matches by beating Baroni FC 3-4 on their travels and Unicorn Athletic made it two wins on the bounce by overcoming West Didsbury & Chorlton 3-5. AFC Jolly Butcher vs Broadheath Central JFC and APFC vs Styal FC were both postponed..
